Thankful Thursdays ~ What are you thankful for?

Tired of the rain?   Tuesday Girl is too, but I am thankful that the flowers are blooming and the grass is getting greener.

It is very easy to let the rain get you down right?  In the literal sense it’s the wet stuff that keeps falling on us, and in the figurative sense it’s the rain that may come into our life for a season.  In this economy with people still unemployed, the housing crisis and all the sad news in the media ~ who wouldn’t want to crawl under an umbrella until it’s sunshiny again right?  Well, those days are coming, but maybe not as quickly as we all may like, so in the meantime, I have found that I can make a difference in my actions one day at a time in how I may feel and react to the rain.

How?  Well, I believe there are many ways to do this, but let’s start Thankful Thursdays and we can explore together as a community how to make a difference one day at a time.  This will apply to our lives, but really we can make a difference in other’s lives…AND if we pay close attention ~ we might just change ourselves in the process.

Today, I would like to ask each of you to comment right here on the blog what you are thankful for.  By sharing with others what you are thankful for it will cause the rest of us to pause and say “oh ya, that too” and again we will have more positive thoughts and that will create a positive energy that we will will share with others and the cycle keeps growing….hence, SUNSHINE!  Let’s give it a try and see how we can create that positive vibe and remember to share it with others because a smile and good thoughts are always contagious!
