Tuesday Girl here reporting from her office in Templeton! The Scarecrows on the Common have had two articles in the Gardner News and have attracted more than 100 vistors just the first day!
I spend much time around town and on the common and I have seen many visitors viewing and commenting on the scarecrows. The other evening I was leaving the Parsonage after a meeting and there were people there taking photos of the creations~it was 7pm and dark and they were still there having a great time! I believe this is the real success of the contest in stirring up the fun in fall!
Here is the 2nd article that was printed in Monday’s Gardner news. I believe next year’s contest is going to be even bigger because I have heard the gaunlets thrown down and the challenges spoken! Enjoy!
