Emmm’s Bakery is a Tuesday Girl favorite and a definate recipe for down home baked treats and more~it’s a recipe for success.
Sue and Bill have really outdone themselves with the move to 25 North Main Street from their previous location across the intersection. Do you know what Emmm’s stands for? Well, it is the initials of their 3 girls ~ Melissa, Melanie and Mishelle and then the E is for Gramma Eunice…now how cool is that! Family owned and operated since August of 2006 and their new place is so much more homey and comfortable. The parking is spectacular and I love that you don’t have to fight that intersection to get in and out. The color scheme around the doorway is very warm and inviting and beckons you to come inside and see what treat awaits you.
Right when you walk through the front door of the building you are drawn into the look and feel of a small cafe just outside the bakery store, but the smell …. mmmmm it’s just to incredible to describe. I love that I can relate that home baked goodness to wonderful memories of being at my Aunt’s next door or in my mom’s kitchen while pies and cookies and any other pastry were being made.
Muffins, cupcakes, cake balls, cookies, turnovers, scones, eclairs, lobster tails, different kinds of breads and the list goes on…but the cakes are oh so beautiful and special. You can order whatever you would like and it will be made to your satisfaction because if they cannot make someone happy it’s just not right for Sue and Bill. Having a wedding~well they make cakes for that too! How about a party and you want a dessert tray….you guessed it there is an order form for that!
They are obviously doing something right because the thank you notes they receive are so sweet and sincere and they really do try very hard to make their customers feel special. They give of their time and donate food and funds when and where needed~a local business that gives back! Thank you Sue and Bill and your family for making your business a great place that we can call home and feel like a part of the family too!
Bill told me today that business is even better than before and they are so happy all the customers waited patiently and came back to them and now there are many new faces too! Tuesday Girl is thrilled that Emmm’s was able find a new home and relocate to a better place because I just can’t imagine Templeton without our local bakery and down home goodness served up with a smile! For some added down home goodness, click on the movie below and remember to visit Emmm’s and tell them Tuesday Girl sent ya! Enjoy!
